Job SummaryThe Loan Operations Partial Release Specialist III supports the Company's Loan Operations Department by assistingevaluating partial release research including but not limited to easements, eminent domain, legal description corrections including a detailed understanding of the precise locationboundaries and measurement of real property, community re-plats, document review, creation, analysis and other support activities.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms partial releases, conducts, and gathers information through discovery investigation. Corresponds with borrowers, title companies, attorneys, or state representatives for process resolution. Engages the internal Legal team for guidance when applicableOrganizes, reviews, analyzes, cross-checks, follows up and validates informationMaintains all tasks for accuracy and ensures appropriate timelines are metBuilds and maintains databases and files, and organizes and tracks filesPrepares written reports and correspondenceReviews and monitors new and updated laws, regulations, and investor guidelinesChecks and edits legal forms and documents for accuracyMaintains updated processes and job aidsPerforms other duties as assignedPosition RequirementsEducationBachelor's degree, associate degree, certification program in paralegal studies or equivalent job experience requiredExperienceMinimum five (5) years of related experience requiredMortgage industry experience preferredFunctionalTechnical SkillsStrong background and knowledge in mortgage lending and loan servicing preferredCreative thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulationsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to interact and communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholdersStrong attention to detail, with a focus on identifying outliers, researching them, and obtaining resolutionAbility to multi-task and prioritizeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSolid working knowledge of MS Office with a strong level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPointBenefitsOur benefits package includes 3 comprehensive Cigna or Kaiser medical plans, dental, and vision insurance.
