Financial Analyst - Mid | Make an Impact with Anglicotech!We seek a Financial Analyst-Mid who will thrive in a challenging, rewarding, process-oriented environment. As part of our team, you will assist the United States Marine Corps Logistics Command in their Full Financial Statement Audit. This includes Internal Control and remediation efforts.Location:This position is located ON-SITE in Albany, GA, with hybridremote possibilities for uniquely qualified candidates.Salary:A salary range of $85,000 - $130,000 is available for this position commensurate with education, years of experience, and qualifications.Responsibilities:Overall support to basic Accounting Tasks, including transaction analysis, accounting reconciliations, and data entry.Conduct financial statement reviewsreconciliations.Conduct data AnalysisRemediation across the universe of financial transactions.Provide interpretive and analytical perspectives on financial transactions and program pile data remediation plans and corrective actions for transactional data discrepancies.Develops and formats content to provide program and financial managers with various data relative to funds status.Assist with the preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements and reports.Review and assist with reconciling balance sheets and general ledger accounts.Assist with annual audit preparation and responses as vestigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.Review General Ledger accounts and identify negative trends; recommend corrective action.Advise on Trial BalanceGeneral Ledger Account abnormal conditions and recommend corrective actions.Assist with developing required documentation in support of the Journal Voucher for submission to the Comptroller or higher for signature; review all supporting documentation IAW regulation and policy.Security Clearance:US Citizenship required.Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance at the minimum level of Secret.Education and Experience:Minimum Years of Experience: Three (3) years of progressive, relevant DoD experience.Minimum Education: Four (4) year degree in accounting or business management-related field from an accredited institution.Minimum Certification: One of the following professional certifications: CPA, CISA, CIA, CGFM or CDFM.Preferred Additional Skills:An understanding of the DoD Acquisition Process and equipment life cycle support functionsAn understanding of OSD Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) and use of Business Process Narratives across multiple procurement and order functions utilized in DoD and public sector. Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems.
