About The Position **Job Title:** Physician**Job Specialty:** OB Hospitalist**Job Duration:** Permanent, full-time**Shift:** 24-hour, 7 shifts/block with additional shifts available if interested**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Welcoming residents, new graduates, and experienced physicians**License:** Ohio license (or willing to obtain)**Certifications:** Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN**Must-Have:** - Clean malpractice and license history- Willingness to reside in the immediate local area**Job Description:**- Provide coverage for a Level II Special Care Nursery (32 weeks+) with approximately 1000 deliveries per year.- 24-hour OB care and consult responsibilities for gynecology.- Scheduled C-sections; non-emergent surgeries as needed, with a surgical team on-call to assist.- Facilitate patient transfers and oversee midwives.- Provide care for emergency department unassigned obstetrics Collaborate with a 24-hour in-house pediatric hospitalist service.- Participate in remote attendance for high-risk meetings.- Utilize an integrated EMR with Cerner throughout the health system.- Engage with a practice and team dedicated to supporting physician autonomy.- Local administration with decision-making centralized in the hospital.- Strong subspecialty support available.- Opportunity to provide and receive mentorship.- Not accepting candidates requiring visa support or those with lapsed Board Competitive salary with benefits including health insurance, dental, vision, retirement programs, and more.- Relocation may be required; not open to commuters or those seeking secondary employment.
