Work where you matter. A Brief Overview Responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the CT department across all assigned locations. This role oversees daily operations, resource management, and staff development to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient CT imaging services. The Manager - CT collaborates with radiologists, the Director of Imaging Services, and other departments to support continuous improvement, strategic growth, and exceptional patient care. This role will supervise CT technologists and lead initiatives to enhance service delivery in alignment with Avera's mission and values. What you will do Oversees daily CT operations, ensuring efficient workflows and consistent delivery of high-quality imaging services. Ensures compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, and CT-specific safety standards, including radiation safety. Collaborates with radiologists to standardize and optimize CT protocols for accuracy, safety, and efficiency. Assists the Director of Imaging Services with departmental budgeting, resource planning, and capital equipment acquisition. Oversees staff scheduling and workload distribution to maximize efficiency and maintain service coverage. Manages equipment performance, coordinate preventative maintenance, and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed. Works with other imaging departments and clinical teams to coordinate patient care and improve service integration. Fosters a patient-first environment by ensuring compassionate care, minimizing wait times, and addressing patient concerns. Leads initiatives that support departmental growth, technology integration, and service expansion to meet future demand. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: Associate's Accredited Radiologic Technology Program and Bachelor's Radiologic Sciences, Health Administration or related field within 5 years ARRT Certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon Hire and Computed Tomography (CT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon Hire Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: 4-6 years CT experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role Expectations and Standards Commitment to the daily application of Avera's mission, vision, core values, and social principles to serve patients, their families, and our community.
