Legal Assistant Paralegal

Job Title: Legal AssistantParalegalLocation: Nashville, TN (Fully Onsite)Job Description:LHH Talent Solutions is seeking a Legal AssistantParalegal to join our Nashville office. This role will support both litigation and transactional attorneys, with a preference for candidates with a civil defense litigation background. The ideal candidate is experienced, smart, detail-oriented, motivated, and enjoys staying busy.Primary Responsibilities:Supporting litigation and transactional attorneys.Drafting correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents.Preparing for trials, including creating electronic presentations, coordinating witnesses, and managing trial exhibits.Handling electronic filings and docketing court filing deadlines.Assisting with document productions and other tasks as needed.Supporting other practice groups as assigned.Requirements:Five or more years of experience as a litigation Paralegal in a law firm or legal department.An Associates degree or the equivalent combination of experience and education. A Paralegal Certificate is preferred.Experience supporting one or more of the following practice groups: Litigation, Health Care.Proficiency in federal Electronic Filing.Experience with eDiscovery software; familiarity with Relativity is preferred.Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.Experience using a legal time and billing system.Experience with trial presentation software is preferred.Excellent communication and time management skills.A motivated, self-directed individual with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues.Ability to prioritize work projects and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.Must be a team player, willing to help other team members during peak times.Firm's Practice Areas:Civil litigationCommercial transactionsEstate and business planningTax planning and tax controversyEstate administration and fiduciary litigationLegal malpractice defenseReal estate issuesRule 31 mediationsEqual Opportunity Employer:Creating a diverse, inclusive work environment is central to LHH Talent Solutions core values and strategic vision.
