The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Local candidates within 50 miles are not considered for this position. Responsibilities: - Provide nursing care in an inpatient surgical unit with a focus on orthopedics. - Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform medical procedures as needed. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. - Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. - In patient surgical unit comprised of 32 private rooms. - Patient population is a medical surgical unit with orthopedics. Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty. - Required BLS and NIH certification. Preferred ACLS certification. - Experience in a medical surgical unit with orthopedics. - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. - Scrub color: Navy Blue Quick Med Staffing Job ID #.
