Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage assigned cases, ensuring all related tasks and projects are handled efficiently.Perform a comprehensive range of paralegal functions from case initiation to resolution, including monitoring case status via court dockets.Review, cite-check, and proofread legal documents, including court filings and formal correspondence, with attention to Bluebook compliance.Prepare necessary legal documents such as deposition notices and subpoenas; organize and maintain materials for witness interviews and depositions, including exhibits and summaries.Utilize cutting-edge technology to enhance collaboration, client service, and operational efficiency.Assist in trial preparation and attend trials as required.Draft and prepare legal documents for service and e-filing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Coordinate and manage large-scale document collection and production tasks, ensuring efficient organization.Support the preparation for witness interviews, fact depositions, and expert witness depositions.Collaborate with vendors and practice support teams in the management of eDiscovery processes and electronic document handling.Perform electronic searches to locate specific information or documents in legal databases.Maintain and prepare logs related to document production, collection, and custodianship.Undertake additional tasks as directed by supervising attorneys or senior staff.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm environment.A BSBA degree is required.Demonstrated proficiency in litigation processes, including document review and production, trial preparation, and support.Strong working knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure.Experience with litigation support and document review software (e.g., Trial Director, Relativity, CaseMap, Adobe Acrobat Pro).Familiarity with CompuLaw docketing software is preferred.Experience with e-filing processes in California state and federal courts.Exceptional skills in cite-checking, proofreading, and adherence to Bluebook citation standards.Flexibility to work overtime and travel as necessary.Ability to perform detailed searches on review platforms as part of document management tasks.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
