About The Position Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Job Specialty: Family Practice Job Duration: 13 weeks with possibility to extend Shift: Day, 5x8-hour (08:00 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner with recent face-to-face patient contact within the past year License: Active Washington license required Certifications: To be discussed during credentialing process; provider responsible for obtaining any required certifications Must-Have: Board certification, clean background (no malpractice), active Washington DEA, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and patient care readiness by day 3 of orientation Job Description:- Provide outpatient ambulatory care in a community health center setting.- Treat patients across all age groups, from newborns to Comfortable working with vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees.- Work with an integrated team, including a dedicated medical assistant, receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and an on-site Perform basic procedures such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.- Utilization of EPIC electronic medical records for Expect to see up to 16 patients per day; ability to handle high volume and fast-paced setting.- Potential for same-day walk-in patient care.- Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus, though not required.- Must be COVID and flu Travel logistics provided, including flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging.- Credentialing timeframe is 2-3 weeks.
