This company has a significant pipeline of High-Voltage Substation projects with major utilities across the US. ****PE NECESSARY****About the role:The role entails taking charge of design leadership, with the expectation of executing design tasks independently. The candidate must possess the ability to discern client needs, coordinate technical endeavors within specialized domains as needed, oversee design budgeting and scheduling, and showcase proficiency in these realms. Experience in high voltage transmission system protection schemes and relay programming for utility or generation clients is required.ResponsibilitiesDesigning documents and drawings for new substation projects, including:One-line diagrams or Three-Line diagramsSingle line relay and metering diagramsAC and DC schematic diagramsBills of materialsField mark-ups of project as-built drawingsSpecifying parameters for current and potential transformersPerforming Quality Assurance design reviews for all Protection and Control documentsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering5+ years in substation P&C design or Physical Strong written and verbal communication
