An electric utility client is looking for a Aviation Program Manager who will lead the Aviation, Filing, and Maintenance (AF&M) Program, and perform annual program documentation review for FAA rules & regulation alignment and find opportunities for process improvements.Location: Pomona, CA 91768 (Hybrid) Position: Aviation Program Manager Pay Rate: $73hr. on W2 Duration: 18 months or longer Schedule: 1st shift, M-F, possible onsite on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm RESPONSIBILITIESLead the Aviation, Filing, and Maintenance (AF&M) Program, and perform annual program documentation review for FAA rules & regulation alignment and find opportunities for process improvementsResponsible for AF&M consultant(s) oversight and related purchase order (PO) management activities for existing andor renewal.Responsible for oversight of AF&M program invoicing and confirmation of work completionResponsible for submittal and tracking of AF&M program filing with FAA requirementsServe as the AF&M lead to support the Public Safety Improvement Initiative directly related to Aerial Line Strike improvement opportunitiesEngage with external parties, such as communities, cities, and government officials as it relates to all matters directly tied to the AF&M programMakes strategic decisions regarding establishing andor changing AF&M program minimum requirements.Responsible for coordinating with Enterprise Work Management (ERM) for any wire-strike risk analysis and AF&M exception process.Present to senior leadership (e.g., operationalcorporate governing bodies) on AF&M program performance andor other related key activities.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field.Ten (10) or more years of combined experience in FAA requirements andor projectprogram management, business operations andor strategic planningDESIRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree in business, engineering or other related disciplineBroad knowledge of SCE's Aviation, Filing, and Maintenance (AF&M) Program andor Federal Aviation Administrative (FAA) rules and regulationsProgram andor Project Management certificationsExperience developing and delivering technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.About our client: Our client is one of the largest electric utilities and a longtime leader in renewable energy and energy efficiency in the United States providing electricity for much of Southern California.
