TRB + Associates is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Plan Review Engineer with a minimum of five (5) years of experience performing plan reviews of commercial, industrial, and residential projects. TRB and Associates, Inc. offers a collaborative work environment, competitive compensation, and benefits package to include health insurance, 401(k) holidays, and paid time off for full-time employment.Locations: Northern California RegionsJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, TemporaryPay: $123,600.00 - $154,500.00 per yearEssential job duties and responsibilities of the role include:Review building plans and prepare written comment letters on building design submittals.Review plans for structural andor non-structural disciplines.Prepare andor update company plan review policies and standards.Perform short-term on-site plan review assignments.Attend clients' andor project team meetings.Assist clients and project team by providing interpretations of building codes and related standards.Assist the quality control team with plan review issues.Assist the document control team with project information, status, and schedule.Job Requirements:A Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering from an accredited university or college.At least five (5) years of plan reviews, peer review andor design experience in building structure.Current registration as a civil, structural, mechanical, electrical engineer, or architect (the State of California preferred).Certification as an ICC Building Plans Examiner is preferred.An in-depth understanding of the California Building Standards Codes and related standards is essential.Working knowledge of office computer software (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Strong verbal, and written communication skills and a problem solver.Valid California driver's license.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceReferral programRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceYou can also send a resume and cover letter to TRB and Associates via email at **Notice to Recruiters:**Recruitment services and unsolicited job offers are not currently required.
