As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are excited to welcome new team members to our Fullerton location as we continue to expand our services.Key Responsibilities:Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to address the unique needs of each client.Provide one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based ABA techniques to teach communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.Collect and analyze data to track client progress and make data-driven decisions to adjust treatment interventions as needed.Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure consistency and effectiveness of treatment goals.Conduct preference assessments and assist the BCBA in conducting behavioral assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify target behaviors and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs).Provide ongoing feedback and support to caregivers on implementing behavior management strategies and promoting generalization of skills in natural environments.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, session notes, and other relevant information in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay current on best practices in the field of ABA therapy.Qualifications:High school diploma required.Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, applied behavior analysis, or related field (preferred).Or previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities pletion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training and certification preferred, or willingness to obtain RBT certification within the first 90 days of employment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and team members.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes, schools, or community settings as needed.Passion for helping individuals with special needs reach their full potential and improve their quality of mitment to upholding ethical standards and adhering to the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).OPERATING HOURS (9AM-6:30PM M-F).CSUF students and alumni are highly encouraged to apply.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the organization.Ongoing supervision and support from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and experienced clinical team members.Continuing education opportunities and assistance with obtaining additional Join our team at PALS ABA Inc. and make a difference in the lives of individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
