Field Services Engineer

A leading engineering machine manufacturer, specializing in sorting and feeding system, motion assembly and placement system, labeling and capping system for food and beverage industries, is looking for Field Service Technician in the south of Dulles International Airport. Idea candidate will have automated industrial machines and equipment service experience but not experience are required. Candidates must be able to travel up to 50% in VA, NY, IL, OH, KY, FL and CA. The responsibilities including maintenance, repair, and calibration of field equipment. The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to customers' needs. Field Service Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:Travel to customer locations to provide installationsrepairs of Machinery and EquipmentProvide diagnostic analysis, repair, or preventative maintenance to customersComplete on-site system audits and evaluationsAssist with maintenance processes, such as modification and reassembly of equipment as needed at client locations Train customer personnel on function and upkeep of equipmentPerform phone support duties in-office when not travelingCommunicate with engineering department to help customer inquiriesBe on call for emergency maintenance needsOther duties as assignedField Service Maintenance Technician Qualifications:Automated industrial machines and equipment service experience but not experience are required Familiarity with OperatingMaintenance manuals and able to read schematics and other technical drawings.Ability to travel up to 50%, mainly to in VA, NY, IL, OH, KY, FL and CA. The duration of travel is up to 2 weeksGood understanding of mechanical and electrical components, packaging and sorting machines, automated machines. Expertise in preventive maintenance and troubleshootingExemplary customer service skills and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externallyValid Driver's license with strong driving recordThis position includes work in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 75 pounds, lift in excess of 75 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel partsequipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
