We are looking for a serious, high-performing sales professional with a proven track record in heavy equipment and used machinery sales. This role is for a sales-driven individual who thrives on closing deals and building strong client relationships.Job Purpose:The Sales Representative for Used Equipment & Heavy Machinery is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining business relationships. This role focuses on maximizing revenue by selling and buying used industrial equipment and heavy machinery. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong sales acumen, eager to expand their expertise in a dynamic, results-driven environment.What You Will Do:Drive sales growth by identifying and engaging potential customers through phone, email, and in-person visits.Develop and maintain a strong prospecting list of potential clients through consistent outreach.Create and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.Identify customer needs and present suitable equipment solutions based on market conditions and competitor pricing.Establish strong relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their heavy machinery needs.Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless equipment delivery, service, and support.Maintain a detailed pipeline of opportunities and provide sales management with weekly updates on progress, with additional updates as needed for key developments.Utilize CRM systems to track sales activity, customer interactions, and market trends.Support and collaborate with team members to drive overall company success.Requirements:A true sales hunter mentality with a relentless drive to exceed targets.3-5 years of high-performance sales experience specifically within the heavy equipment and used machinery industry.Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and build long-term client relationships.Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).3-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the industrial or heavy equipment industry.Strong ability to build relationships and maintain long-term customer loyalty.Experience in cold calling, prospecting, and developing new business opportunities.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to overcome objections.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to analyze market conditions and take action to increase sales opportunities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and CRM systems.Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple projects, including prospecting new clients, coordinating equipment deliveries, and tracking customer follow-ups.Must be comfortable working in outdoor and industrial environments.Valid driver's license with the ability to travel as needed.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of used heavy equipment, machinery sales, or industrial markets.Experience with financial merchandising and leasing options for equipment sales.Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently.Ability to engage in natural and effective verbal interactions with customers.This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional to grow within a collaborative and dynamic company culture.
