JOB TITLE: Industrial Controls Sales SpecialistREPORTS TO: Director of Panel ProductionJOB SUMMARY: The Industrial Controls Sales Specialist is a highly motivated self-starter with excellent leadership and negotiating abilities. Can develop and maintain positive relations with new customers, existing customers, suppliers, and Ohio Valley Electrical Services personnel.RESPONSIBILITIES:Understand the needs of the customer and be able to develop a quote based on the project solution.Knowledge of available products and their use.Developing price structure for any needed project.Presenting the solution to the customer when needed.Able to develop control schemes and AutoCad when necessary.Maintain existing customer base.Create new customer opportunities.Work with Project ManagerEstimators at OVES on projects that need Panel plete product negotiations with preferred Vendors.Create Preliminary Designs as backup to the estimates as needed.Correspond with customers to develop a sequence of Operations, so that sales and engineering can address the needs of the customer.REQUIRED SKILLSABILITIES:Microsoft Office (ExcelWordOutlook)File ManagementAutoCad ElectricalAbility to adapt to ERP systems (ComputerEase currently in use)BluebeamBasic understanding of National Electric CodeUL 508 & 698 KnowledgeMulti-TaskerEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:5 years of experience working in a Panel Fabrication Facility.3 years Engineering experience in Panel Fabrication.
