Senior Maintenance Technician

We are an established packaging manufacturer seeking an experienced LME Maintenance Technician. The position is full-timeswing shift. Requirements:· Oregon LME License (Active) · Experience working with manufacturing machinery· Safe working habits using proper lifting techniques, LOTO and proper PPE use · Work involves demanding physical abilities at times. Standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs, working in closed in areas and working near the ceiling on a boom lift at times.· Familiar with motor control circuits, Sensors, VFD's, PLC's, light fixture ballast replacement. Need to work safely with 480 & 230VAC 3í˜, 270VAC, 120VAC and 24 12 VDC systems.· Must be able to read and understand manuals instructions for drive programming and document work performed in a clear fashion. Must have the ability to understand electrical schematics for installation or troubleshooting.· Computer skills MS Windows based· Pre-employment drug screening and a valid driver's license. Other Skills a Plus: · Welding, machining using a lathe, mill or drill press. Repairing replacing broken bolts, replacing bearings, shafts and belting. The ability to read and understand schematics (pneumatic and hydraulic)· Familiar with the dangers of compressed air systems, hydraulics and an understanding of their application.· Trouble shooting experience using PLC software preferred Job Duties:· Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and machinery. Including at times replacing motors, drives, motor starters, contactors, switches, photo eyes, ect. inspecting cabinet contents for loose connections. Inspectingtesting of emergency lighting replacing units and or batteries.· Proper use of amp meters and DMM's. Testing contactors for failure or troubleshooting electronic problems on machinery or mobile equipment.· Helping other team members with maintenance duties of changing out a pumps, performing repairs, lubing machinery as needed or cleaning up. This position will encompass all maintenance functions in regards to machinery.· Assisting with the installation of new equipment or relocating machinery. This includes all aspects of preparation for the new equipment.· A strong team player who works well with others. Needs to have good organizational skills.
