Job Title: Senior Transportation AnalystLocation: 410 George St New Brunswick, NJ 08933100% OnsiteDuration: 12 Months contract (potential to be extended)Shift Schedule: 8:30am to 5pm (M-F)Description:The Senior Analyst, IRTE, is responsible for the seamless operational execution of inter-region transport lanes (door-to-door management). This role involves daily logistics coordination, issue resolution, and project management with freight forwarders, shipping sites, and supply planning teams.Key Responsibilities:Operational Management:Oversee door-to-door inter-region transport lanes to ensure product availability and superior customer experience.Track and trace shipments, manage exceptions, and address issues impacting shipment flows (e.g., missing documentation, freight delays, and quality events).Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration:Lead and participate in vendor management meetings, including performance reviews and operational reporting.Collaborate with DCs, manufacturing facilities, and client's Deliver Quality to maintain operations within quality frameworks.Process Improvement and Analytics:Initiate and lead process improvement projects using methodologies like Six Sigma and FPX.Conduct ad-hoc analytics to enhance operational efficiency.Present performance metrics and project updates to various management levels.Project Management and Lane Implementation:Support global bid events for inter-region transport moves.Manage lane implementation for new or modified lanes.Follow established SOPs and ensure metrics compliance.Cross-Functional Support:Act as the SME for product launches, continuous improvement projects, and customer service initiatives.Assist with tenders led by sourcing partners.Provide operational support for critical transport events across geographical regions.Core Competencies:Connect: Foster internal collaboration and cultivate external partnerships.Deliver: Empower teams to act with speed, agility, and accountability.Shape: Challenge the status quo and lead teams through change.Lead: Promote transparent and constructive communication to build high-performing teams.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree (minimum) with 2-4 years of relevant experience.Prior experience in Planning, Distribution, Manufacturing, Transportation, Logistics, Customer Service, or Supply Chain Operations.Strong technical skills to assess risk and manage operational issues effectively.Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with project management tools like Microsoft Project, GNATT, RACI, and FMEA.Knowledge of analytics tools like Alteryx and Tableau is a plus.Experience with Six SigmaProcess Excellence tools (training or certification preferred).Ability to navigate matrixed environments, collaborate across cultures, and challenge the status quo.Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).Additional Information:Industry: Highly matrixed, global organization with multi-sector operations.Desired Traits: Team player, analytical mindset, and transportation experience.Top Three Skills:Transportation ExperienceAnalytics ProficiencyTeam Player
