Wafer Fab Processing Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wafer Processing Operator to join our team in a semiconductor production environment. This position plays a vital role in the wafer processing functions, including dicing, scribing, testing, and certifying wafer lots in the back end of wafer fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to handle fragile substrates and demonstrate manual dexterity with precision tools, ensuring that production and quality standards are met.Key Responsibilities:Perform daily wafer processing operations, including wafer thinning, metallization, dicingscribing, grinding, wafer probing, pick-and-place, and waferdevice testing.Work with multiple substrate materials in addition to traditional wafer processing.Maintain lot traceability throughout back-end operations.Manually handle fragile parts with care and precision, ensuring proper techniques and minimizing damage.Report any issues or problems encountered during the production process and contribute to resolving them efficiently.Support the implementation of daily plans and prioritize tasks according to production requirements.Ensure compliance with quality policies and maintain strict adherence to safety standards and regulations.Support the engineering teams with various development tasks in addition to standard production.Follow cleanroom protocol and adhere to MIL-STD requirements and product-specific specifications.Participate in maintaining and improving operational efficiency in a LEAN or Six Sigma environment (experience in these areas is a plus).Skills & Qualifications:Strong manual dexterity for handling fragile substrates, including the use of tweezers and precision tools.Excellent attention to detail and focus on maintaining process safety and quality standards.Ability to follow written instructions carefully and ensure precise execution of tasks.Experience in microelectronics or photonic device inspection is an advantage.Proficiency in adhering to safety measures, including the handling of chemicals, personal protective equipment (PPE), and compliance with safety protocols.Experience working in a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict cleanliness and safety standards.Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced production environment.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments and teams.
