As we are expanding rapidly, we are looking for a Custodian to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in supporting our organization's efforts to mature business processes and commercialize our innovative technology.Job Overview:We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Custodian to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. The Custodian will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing various areas of the building, ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met, and providing general maintenance support. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all employees, visitors, and customers.Key Responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness of industrial spacesSweep, mop, and vacuumDusting and Vacuuming fixtures and equipmentEmpty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of wasteClean windows and doors for the industrial spaceMonitor and report any maintenance issues, such as leaks, broken equipment, or safety hazardsEnsure all cleaning products are used safely and stored correctlyAssist with minor repairs and facility maintenance tasksEngage in 5s activitiesPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications:Previous custodial or cleaning experience is a plus but not requiredAbility to work independently and manage time efficientlyPhysical stamina to perform cleaning and lifting tasksKnowledge of cleaning equipment and suppliesStrong attention to detail and organization skillsAbility to follow instructions and safety guidelinesGood communication skills and a positive attitudeWorking Conditions:May require working evenings or weekends depending on the facility's scheduleThe role may involve standing, bending, lifting, and walking for long periods of timeUse of cleaning chemicals and equipment is necessaryAdditional Information:You will be working in a small team environment where teamwork and good relationships with other team members are critical.
