Regional Safety Manager - ConstructionLocation: Irvine, CA (Regional Travel Required)Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 (commensurate with experience)About the Opportunity:Our client, a leading general contractor, is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for safety professionals with 5+ years of experience looking to take the next step in their career, working on large-scale construction projects across the region. The position requires a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground approach, ensuring that all safety standards and protocols are met on active job sites.This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level safety professional looking to grow into a leadership role while working on complex construction projects.Responsibilities:Support and enforce job site safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.Conduct regular site safety audits, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective measures.Provide safety training and education for field personnel, subcontractors, and site management vestigate accidents and near-miss incidents, documenting findings and recommending improvements.Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to develop proactive safety strategies.Ensure proper use of PPE, fall protection, and hazard communication on all active job sites.Stay up to date on local, state, and federal safety regulations and ensure all projects remain in compliance.Assist in developing and maintaining site-specific safety plans.Conduct new hire safety orientations and ensure all workers understand and adhere to job site safety protocols.Qualifications:5+ years of construction safety experience, preferably in commercial or industrial projects.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, risk assessments, and hazard mitigation.Experience conducting safety audits, incident investigations, and training programs.Ability to lead and educate teams on best safety practices in a high-paced construction environment.CHST or other safety certifications are a plus but not required.Willingness to travel regionally to multiple project sites as needed.Excellent communication and leadership skills with a hands-on approach to job site safety.Why Join This Team?Competitive Salary ($90K-$130K) + Performance-Based IncentivesOpportunity to Grow into a Senior Safety Leadership RoleWork with a Highly Respected General Contractor on Large-Scale ProjectsComprehensive Benefits Package, Including Health, 401(k), and PTOStrong Company Culture Focused on Safety and Employee DevelopmentThis is a great opportunity for experienced safety professionals who want to advance their careers with a respected construction industry leader.
