Step into an instrumental role to help conduct the smooth operation of a fast-paced and friendly financial planning office. Work as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Service, LLC.Assist financial advisor(s) in managing and organizing office workflow with an emphasis on creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates the practice. This role provides client relationship support through interacting directly with clients to ensure accurate account set up and through acting as a liaison to answer client questions. The role will also perform other practice management tasks relating to client service.Responsibilities:Schedule client appointmentsConduct client appointment reminder callsConduct client check-in callsGreet clients upon arrival and extend hospitality to clients.Set up and maintain client files in CRM.Document client callscontactsAnswer questions and provide readily available information to clients, if requested and as allowable, as it relates to servicing their accounts.File documents in Box and Online File Manager (OFM)Prepare correspondence for advisor signature.Copy and follow-up with home office on related issuesPrepare for all client meetings.Prepare preliminary financial planning recommendations and initial product solutions for advisor review and use in client meetings.Prepare charts, graphs, tables and other visual aids to be used in implementation meetings with clients.Maintain client contact during the financial planning process. Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients, if requested and as allowable, as it relates to servicing their accounts.Manage and resolve client service problems.Provide necessary client follow-up from initial client appointment.Calculate systematic sellspayouts for clients and purchase amounts based on advisor plete any business passed from advisor including applications for new business, account maintenance, applying funds in the form of checks to appropriate accounts, and placing trades as directed from Financial Advisor.Key traits on a Client Service Specialist:High level of interpersonal skillsPolite and clear phone mannerEffective communication skillsProficient computer and application skillsDirect attention to detail and organizationEffective and efficient time managementAbility to multi-taskPositive attitude and sincere willingness to constantly learn and grow
