SuperintendentAs a supervisory member of the operations team, the Superintendent is tasked with managing multiple projects within the company. This means having excellent knowledge of the industry, being proficient within electrical and or instrumentation field, and employee output while understanding and striving to meet the company's strategic goals, mission, values, and beliefs. Superintendent will report to the Project Manager. Duties & ResponsibilitiesAccountable for and lead all work activities on a Project, Turnaround or Work area.Know the status of all teams, including technicians, their location and availability daily.Provide input on daily productivity reports and Project dashboard and support of Project Manager in providing feedback to teams and reporting out to client management team.Ensure employees' hours are balanced and correct for payroll and billing purposes on a weekly basis. Monitor estimated hours per job and challenge teams to safely reduce job time requirements by sound job planning and implementing alternative ways of working.Review applicable job requirements and determine employee skill requirements.Provide real time information feedback to management team on quality issues and concerns. Interface with Contract Management Team including the procurement group, turnaround, projects, and maintenance teams.Strong field presence.Ensure compliance with company and Industry HSE requirements.Skills & Qualifications:Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in leadership within the discipline.Demonstrable knowledge level of Flawless work Delivery.Able to issue and follow up on Non-Conformity Reports.Able to review and follow company procedures.Able to review and interpret quality records and determine associated compliance with requirements (Performance data, test record, inspection record, and other quality data and documents).Familiar with regulatory requirements (DOT, USCG, etc.).Have knowledge of the basics for planning and scheduling.Able to review and understand planning techniques such as cost control, material control, and project control plans. Able to review and interpret technical requirements in contractspurchase orders.Must be organized and able to multi-task.Strong analytical skills.Experience with or willing to learn fact-based decision making and root cause analysis, evaluation of supplier corrective and preventative actions and determination if these actions were effective.
