Wickham Rd).Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.RESPONSIBILITIES OF PASTRY BAKER•   Prepare French Pastries (cakes, tartlets, choux pastry, chocolates, meringues, jams)•  Prepare French Viennoiseries (yeast-leavened doughs)•   Mix and bake batters from scratch daily, according to recipes or orders•   Prepare and bake French Pastries•   Produce a variety of custards and pastry creamsSKILLS•   Meticulous & Punctual•   High Standard of Work Ethic•   Creative thinker•   Operate machinery in bakery : oven, mixers, sheeter, proofer•   Calculate production quantities, chart and deal with numbers on a daily basis•   Ensure quality of products (taste, odor & appearance)•   Work with speed, accuracy, diligence & impeccable hygiene•   Oversee organization and presentation of baked goods in display cases•   Label and organize product in storage areasQualifications•   2 Years Baking Experience Minimum•   Knowledge of French Baking Methods a plus•   Mastery of baking techniques (emphasis on French techniques)$15.00hours to $18.00 or more, depending on experience.
