Job TitleField Service EngineerLocation Boise, Idaho, USAAbout our Client Innovative technology company specializing in advanced semiconductor and display manufacturing equipmentKey Responsibilities Equipment Installation & Maintenance:Install and set up equipment at customer sitesPerform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficientlyConduct system upgrades and modifications as neededTroubleshooting & Repair:Lead complex troubleshooting and corrective maintenanceAnalyzes and improves system performance using advanced diagnostic techniquesPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actionsEscalate complex technical problems to engineering teams when necessaryCustomer Support & Training:Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers on equipment operationTrain customer personnel and colleagues (when necessary) on proper maintenance and troubleshooting proceduresAct as a liaison between customers and internal technical teamsAct as a technical resource for junior engineers, providing guidance and mentorshipDocumentation & Reporting:Maintain service logs, reports, and documentation for all customer interactionsProvide feedback to engineering and relevant product teams on recurring issuesEnsure compliance with safety and quality standardKey RequirementsBachelor's degree or above (Engineering major)2 to 8 years of experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support of semiconductor equipmentStrong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and systemsProficiency in interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and system manualsExcellent communication and customer service skillsWillingness to travel to customer sites, when needed (domestic and international)Additional RemarksCandidates must be fully authorized to work in the US (Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this role)Must have reliable transportation for commuting to the customer site and company locations as neededContactJay Park, Senior
