Greater San Francisco Bay Executive Director Position SummaryReporting to the Vice President, Western Division, the Greater San Francisco Bay Executive Director will provide leadership and management in the assigned market area while working with the Board of Directors and volunteers. The Executive Director will supervise staff and oversee all chapter fundraising, Public Education, Advocacy, volunteer development and will be responsible for increasing awareness of the organization through community outreach and collaboration. Position Duties and ResponsibilitiesIn conjunction with the Chapter Board of Directors, develop and implement an annual budget and business plan.Manage all chapter activities through on-going implementation and evaluation of items in business plan and budget.Responsible for recruiting and training volunteers to carry out the work of the chapter.Ensure chapter produces revenue to cover program and operating expenses.Supervise implementation of all AFSP approved programs as outlined in the organization's program priorities booklet.Hire and manage a full-time fundraising professional.Work with appropriate program staff and volunteers using toolkits to execute impactful programs while tracking results and measuring impact.Responsible for all public policy activities of the chapter including recruiting Field Ambassadors, staffing Public Policy committee, state policy days, and other policy activities.Serve as the primary contact for all PRCommunication activities including emails, chapter website, and social media.Responsible for all revenue goals including event fundraising and non-event fundraising. Candidate QualificationsBachelor's Degree.5+ years' experience in nonprofit fundraising, program delivery, and volunteer development.
