Join our family at Hilscher-Clarke and contribute to a legacy of excellence and values-driven success.The ideal candidate for the HR Coordinator role will have a passion for HR functions, a keen attention to detail, and a strong desire to support both new and existing employees.Hilscher-Clarke offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including bonus opportunities, opportunities for advancement , 401(k), 401(k) matching, PTO, AD&D insurance, Health Insurance, Dental insurance, Vision Insurance, Disability insurance, and Life insurance.Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage job postings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and facilitate prescreening interviews to identify qualified candidates.Assist with the onboarding of new hires, including preparing documentation, enrolling employees in benefits programs, integrating them into the payroll system, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company culture.Employee Records & Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential employee records, including personal details, medical information, and other essential data.Contribute to the creation and upkeep of HR-related documents such as employee files, job descriptions, benefits communications, and other materials.Payroll & Benefits Support: Assist in processing payroll for employees as needed.Respond to employee HR-related questions regarding payroll, benefits, and other pliance & Training: Ensure company policies and procedures are in compliance with federal and state labor laws.Help coordinate mandatory training programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.HR Data & Reporting: Assist with HR data collection and generate reports for management as needed.General Support: Support the HR Manager with ongoing HR projects and initiatives.Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.Required Experience:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).Alternatively, an associate degree with relevant HR experience may be considered.1-3 years of previous experience in HR or a related field is preferred.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality.Knowledge of federal and state labor laws is a plus.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and continuously evolving work environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Job Type: Full-timeJob Location: Canton, OhioHilscher-Clarke is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
