Operations Manager - Alumanate (Houston, TX)About Alumanate:Alumanate is a fast-growing aluminum composite panel manufacturer serving the signage, architectural, and transportation industries. Our Houston-based manufacturing facility operates 24 hours per day, producing high-quality panels that set the industry standard.We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our warehouse, logistics, inventory, and production support operations. This position is critical to ensuring smooth inbound and outbound shipments, efficient inventory management, and overall operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Warehouse & Logistics Management:Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments, including full truckloads, partial loads, and LTL freight. Including booking daily shipments directly with our shipping brokers. Ensure on-time and accurate shipping of customer orders while managing freight carriers and costs.Work closely with the sales and production teams to schedule and prioritize ventory & Supply Chain Coordination:Manage inventory.Conduct weekly inventory counts and ensure accuracy in stock levels.Optimize warehouse space utilization and implement efficient material flow.Operational Oversight & Efficiency:Work closely with the production team to align inventory, materials, and shipments with manufacturing needs.Improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Implement and maintain systems to track and report key operational metrics.Leadership & Team Management:Supervise and coordinate warehouse personnel to ensure efficiency and productivity.Provide training and support to ensure adherence to safety and operational best practices.Foster a high-performance culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.Qualifications & Experience:5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, warehouse management, or manufacturing.Strong experience in inventory management, shipping coordination, and supply chain processes.Knowledge of freight, trucking, and LTL shipping is highly preferred.Experience working in manufacturing or distribution environments.Strong leadership skills with experience managing warehouse teams.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency in inventory and ERP systems (experience with SOS Inventory, QuickBooks, or is a plus).Why Join Alumanate?Fast-growing, industry-leading company with ambitious expansion plans.Opportunity to have a significant impact and lead operations at a high petitive salary + benefits package.Positive and team-oriented company culture.
