Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a marine propeller design and manufacturing client in Grand Rapids who is actively looking to hire qualified individuals for a Sales & Engineering Administrator career.The ideal candidate will be able to process customer inquiries, create and update sales quotes, maintain technical documentation, and more.Sales & Engineering Administrator Benefits: • Competitive salary with potential for performance bonuses • Health, dental, and vision benefits • Paid time off and holiday schedule • Professional development opportunities • Collaborative and dynamic team environmentSales & Engineering Administrator Responsibilities: • Process customer inquiries and sales orders, ensuring accurate order documentation • Create and update sales quotes using technical data from customer requirements and engineering assessments • Maintain detailed records of propeller specifications, technical drawings, and design modifications • Track project timelines, providing regular status updates to customers and internal teams • Manage the engineering document control system, ensuring proper revision control and distribution • Coordinate with production teams to track manufacturing schedules and delivery dates • Assist in creating work orders, linking sales and engineering outputs to production inputs • Enter and maintain ERP data for use across the operations • Support sales and production tracking documentation for both inboard and outboard sales • Generate monthly sales and production reports for internal stakeholdersSales & Engineering Administrator Qualifications: To be considered for the Sales & Engineering Administrator position, applicants should: • Hold an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or a related field • Have 2+ years of experience in an administrative role within manufacturing or engineering • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems • Have a solid understanding of basic technical documentation and engineering drawings • Exhibit excellent organizational and multitasking abilities • Possess strong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications: • Experience in the marine industry or marine propulsion systems • Knowledge of BPCS ERP system and Odoo CRM tools • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems • Experience with document control systemsWork Environment: • Primary work to be completed in an office environment, with occasional access to the shop floor • Must be able to wear required PPE and follow safety protocols • Exposure to typical machine shop conditions, including noise and metal particlesAxios Professional Recruitment - an entirely employee-owned company - is the largest independent employer in West Michigan.
