Position: Electrical Engineer II, Req#: CRNGJP00027848Location: Corning, NY (100% onsite)Duration: 10+ Months ContractHours of work:Standard work hours are M-F 7:30-4:00, however, on-call and weekend work is expected for project work and electrical shutdowns when necessaryJob Description:Description: This position is in the Electrical & Controls Engineering Department within the Workplace Services Division (WPS) and is focused on delivering reliable electrical distribution to the customers of the WPS Division to enable research, development and engineering programs in support of the Innovation process. Become a leader in troubleshooting, process improvement, new equipment installation and documentation of electrical infrastructure and process equipment.Education and Experience Requirements:BSEE or BSEET degree with a focus on electrical power and power distribution.Understands regulations applicable to the area of expertise and works to ensure compliance (NEC, NFPA, etc.) Incorporates safety and risk analysis into equipment designsProficient in the use of AutoCAD.Co-Op andor intern experience dealing with electrical infrastructure equipment and troubleshooting.Ability to use electrical test meters, PC's andor schematics to troubleshoot electrical equipmentinfrastructure.Proficient with MS Office applications.Must have 2+ Years Experience as an Electrical Engineer
