Reporting to the Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing employee benefits plans, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with reporting and tax regulations.Why This Opportunity?Competitive salary: $53,040 - $62,400 annuallyWork with a stable and well-respected organization in the manufacturing and engineering prehensive benefits package, including 401(k) matching, health, dental, and vision insurance.Opportunity to take ownership of payroll and benefits administration in a dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesBenefits Administration:Enroll eligible employees in benefits plans and provide benefits orientation.Process status changes and manage open enrollment.Maintain vendor relationships, investigate discrepancies, and ensure compliance.Distribute benefits compliance notifications.Payroll Processing:Prepare and maintain weekly payroll records and reports.Process garnishments, levies, and employment verifications.Remit weekly payroll taxes and Friend of the Court payments.File monthly sales, use, and withholding taxes and city withholding taxes.Assist with filing 940 and 941 forms.Support annual Worker's Compensation and Commercial Insurance audits.Ensure accurate year-end reporting, including W-2 processing.Manage the taxation of employer-paid benefits.Qualifications & Requirements5+ years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.Associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.Experience with UKG Ready or M2M is a plus.Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management pensation & BenefitsSalary: $53,040 - $62,400 per year401(k) with employer matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance and disability coveragePaid time off (PTO)
