Software Engineer Intern

Follow us!We're looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our team and contribute to building Hazel. You'll work across the full stack, implement webhooks for real-time event handling, and collaborate on backend and frontend development to create a seamless user experience.What You'll DoDevelop and maintain backend services using Node.js (Express, NestJS).Build and optimize full-stack web applications (React, Next.js, Vue, or similar).Implement webhooks and API integrations for real-time updates and third-party services.Design and manage databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB).Work on authentication and security (OAuth, JWT, role-based access control).Debug, optimize, and improve system performance and scalability.Perform and test off the shelf machine learning and AI models.What We're Looking ForProficiency in JavaScriptTypeScript and Node.js development.Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, or similar).Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.Understanding of database design and querying (SQL, NoSQL).Experience with Git and version control best practices.Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Firebase) is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.PerksGain hands-on experience in full-stack development with AI-driven applications.Flexible remote work options.Work in a fast-paced startup environment with mentorship opportunities.Opportunity to impact the future of AI matchmaking.📍 Location: Remote or hybrid📅 Duration: 3-6 months (flexible)💡 Apply now and help us shape the future of Hazel!Paid intern: $50hour
