Job Description As Associate Wealth Advisor (AWA), you will work directly with a Wealth Advisor and their clients in our Woodbury office. You would be responsible for client prep work, follow-up, documentation and tasks related to serving our clients and prospective clients. Our advisors hold 12-15 client meetings per week that you would be included in.This role is perfect for someone eager to enter the financial planning profession, an existing Client Service Associate or Paraplanner ready to take the next step in their career. A successful AWA will be a thoughtful listener, have a strong team mentality and be driven to grow professionally and personally. Success at this position will eventually transition you into a Lead Wealth Advisor role within the team. Whereas you will be in individual meetings with clients, giving financial advice, directing investments and advising on broader financial questions from clients.Responsibilities Prepare and attend client meetings, generate post meeting tasks and follow up. Our core technology is Office 365 and Salesforce.Update financial plans and client data in eMoney, Right Capital and other specialized planning tools. Work with Client Service Team to promptly resolve client questions, execute requests, and confirm information is updated across all systems.Learn best practices and existing procedures to become a productive member of the team.Critical in supporting, retaining and building meaningful client relationships. Actively develop skills in various software programs for investment and financial planning.Learn and adhere to company-specific processes and procedures.Qualifications 1-3 years' experience at a Broker Dealer, Registered Investment Advisor firm or related business experience.Proficiency with Salesforce, Zoom, DocuSign, Calendly, MS Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint and Teams.Bachelor's degree in finance or related subject.Have or working towards Series 65 or CFP®.Exceptional oral and written communication anized, meticulous and detail oriented. Ability to switch tasks, solve complex problems and perform under pressure.Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for helping clients and coworkers.Skills and Knowledge Willingness to understand our wealth management process including personal financial planning, retirement planning, tax and insurance planning and investment management.Previous experience with high-net-worth clientsfamilies and experience utilizing financial planning software is preferred.Highly effective interpersonal, relationship and communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
