Quality Control ManagerEmployment Type: Full-Time | ExemptPay: $76,000 - $110, 800Location: Monroe, LATravel Requirements: 0-5% travel to job site(s)office locationOverview:The Quality Control Manager is responsible for upholding the company's commitment to brand consistency by overseeing product quality and installation techniques as outlined in the corporate Quality Assurance Manual and procedures. This role ensures compliance with contract specifications, construction codes, and corporate quality standards while working closely with project teams.Responsibilities:Quality Control & Inspection:Conduct job site inspections to assess installation quality and compliance with contract specifications and construction codes.Perform system verification to ensure proper installation per design specifications.Witness and document testing procedures and maintain quality control records.Perform receipt inspections of materials in collaboration with material control.Process Implementation & Compliance:Ensure corporate quality standards, as outlined in the quality control manual, are effectively implemented across projects.Assist in the development and execution of a company-wide quality control program.Maintain lessons learned and share insights across projects for continuous improvement.Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with managers to align quality goals and maintain synergy within the organization.Provide project teams and corporate leadership with reports on findings, solutions, responsible parties, and deadlines for teract daily with project managers and teams to reinforce corporate quality control processes.Assist project teams in problem-solving and ensure smooth transitions from fabrication to manufacturing.Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree in a related field plus two years of construction quality control experience, or six years of experience in construction quality control for large commercial building projects.Quality Control training certification.Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction codes.Familiarity with regulatory agency requirements related to quality control.Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including contracts, purchase documents, plans, and specifications.Proven leadership and supervisory skills with effective verbal and written communication.Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to handle tasks outside the primary scope of work.EPA 608 Certification.Preferred:Experience handling construction claims.Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Life, accident, and disability coverage.401(k) retirement plan.
