EstimatorOur client is on the search for a Drywall Estimator to join their growing team. As an Estimator, you will work closely with senior estimators and project managers to assist in estimating and preparing accurate cost estimates for drywall.ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparing detailed cost estimates for drywall installation and related projects.Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine material and labor requirements.Prepare takeoffs for drywall materials, including framing, insulation, and municate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to gather pricing information.Support senior estimators in reviewing proposals and ensuring accuracy of quotes.Assist in the preparation of bid packages and tender submissions.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of drywall materials, pricing trends, and industry best practices.Track and document changes in project scope and provide updates to pricing as necessary.Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure estimates align with project requirements.Contribute to the preparation of cost reports and project budgets.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).Basic knowledge of drywall installation, materials, and industry standards.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and documentation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst) is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.Strong organizational and time management skills.About Scott-HumphreyWe are a national recruitment practice specializing in Construction, Real Estate, Legal, PharmaMed Device, Digital Marketing, Creative, & Shared Services recruitment.
