Manufacturing Engineer - CNCThe Manufacturing Engineer - CNC optimizes manufacturing processes with a strong focus on CNC programming, machining, and production efficiency. This role enhances fabrication methods, tooling, and quality control while ensuring seamless production workflows.Key Responsibilities:CNC Programming & Optimization - Develop, debug, and refine CNC programs for machining operations.Process Improvement - Analyze and implement enhancements to machining and fabrication processes.Manufacturing Support - Troubleshoot CNC programming, tooling, and process issues.Lean Manufacturing - Lead Kaizen events, mistake-proofing (poka-yoke), and continuous improvement projects.Equipment & Tooling Management - Design and procure jigs, fixtures, and tooling to optimize CNC machining.Production Planning & Documentation - Create Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) and optimize facility layouts.Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.3+ years of CNC machining and manufacturing experience.Proficiency in CNC programming, debugging, and optimization.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining principles, and general machine shop practices.Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).Lean Manufacturing experience, including Kaizen events.Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards.Preferred:5+ years of CNC and manufacturing engineering experience.Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.ERP system experience (Epicor or similar).This role is ideal for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with a CNC background, looking to drive efficiency and cost reduction in a dynamic production environment.
