Cost Analyst, Cost Control or Cost EngineerRefinery or Construction PreferredReports To: Project Manager"Universal Plant Services is in search of an Assistant Project Manager who will work with our Tank Division and be responsible for advising the team on a variety of data including costs, potential issues, forecasts, budgets, estimates, schedule updates, and assisting with project close outs. Recent Construction Management graduates are encouraged to apply."Requirements"Must have Cost Experience in Construction or Oil and Gas • Must be able to pass drug screen and background check• A valid TWIC card is preferred as most clients require it.• Must have good communication skills.• Must be able to accept instructionsdelegation and perform in a fast paced, highpressure setting.• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.• Must be willing to travel and have transportation to and from job site.Responsibilities• Track ongoing cost of projects through multiple reporting methods.• Develop and maintain daily productivity reports.• Develop and maintain daily scope variance reports.• Develop and maintain daily project budget and earned value reports.• Develop and maintain daily project performance report.• Develop and maintain RFI'sFCO's and their logs.Essential Functions• Must be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with otheremployees.• Must be able to attend dailyweekly meetings as well as regular interaction withthe client.• Must be willing to comply with company safety policy andor any relatedOSHAANSI standard regarding proper wearing of PPE, safe work practices, etc.• Must be willing to work for extended hours and willing to work over theirscheduled shift, if required. Able to work days or nights.• Must be willing to perform other duties as may be required by Field Supervision.Follow oral and written directions.Qualifications and Experienceï‚· This position requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.ï‚· (5) Years working experience, in a Cost Control position within Refinery or Construction Industries is preferred
