Manufacturing Project Manager

The Manufacturing Project Manager is responsible for leading a variety of Sun Nuclear manufacturing projects. This includes planning, validation and manufacturing transfer of new product introductions from engineering to manufacturing.Key Areas of Responsibility: Manage and direct day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of no less than 3 projects including but not limited to: Drive the technical industrialization of new products, including technical feedback to guide new designs, requirements and testing and feedback to suppliers on manufacturing processes Lead problem solving teams for technical issues to ensure best possible solutions Work with engineering teams and contribute to DfX reviews on complex electro-mechanical products Act as a contributor in discussions between CMS, sub-suppliers and engineering Create, monitor, and manage project plans, project risksmitigations, and resource requirementsKnowledge, Skills & Experience: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering 5+ years' experience in project management focusing on manufacturing Previous track record of organizing, and transferring to manufacturing small to medium size development projects Experience with a Phase Gate Design Process Experience in DfX Ability to influence engineering and operations professionals Strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational abilities Work well within a team environment and across multiple functions Ability to take initiative, and to meet deadlines under pressure
