We're helping our client find a Full Stack Engineer who will play a pivotal role in shaping the core product. As an early team member, you'll be instrumental in building the platform that becomes the go-to application for users to find all work-related information. Please note that this is not a remote role and this is an in-person role based in San Francisco, CA.What You'll Do: Building a consumer grade UI experience for our GenAI Chat, Enterprise Search, and AdminCuration featuresImproving the flexibility and quality of the search pipeline, building a semantic understanding of customer organizations, extending the current permissionaccess controls, and expanding the knowledge curation featuresImplementing the latest approaches in NLP research like LLM based Knowledge Graphs, StructRAG, Agent Search, etc. to increase the range of questions the system can answerOwn the entire development cycle of new features, from conception to productionCollaborate with founders to shape and influence the direction of the product and contribute to the engineering strategyWhat You Should Have:Have 1-5 years (or more) of software engineering experience building real-world applicationsExperience with TypescriptReactNextJS, Python, Relational DB (Postgres)Experience working in a fast moving startup and in small teams with minimal guidanceExcellent communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate with others (both teammates and external customers)Bonus pointsExperience with DockerKubernetes, cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure), and on-prem cloud deploymentsExperience (or even just interest) in information retrieval and AI (NLP, Deep Learning, GenAI)Previous Founder or 0-to-1 engineer at early startupThe client offers a comprehensive compensation package for this role, including a base salary and equity. The final offer is determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training.
