WORKFORCE OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Upper Savannah Council of Governments is seeking candidates for a Workforce Operations Manager. The Workforce Operations Manager oversees the implementation, operations, processes, policies and fiscal tracking of WIOA-funded programs and services. This leadership role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and policies, while driving workforce development initiatives to meet the needs of businesses, job seekers, and the community. The Workforce Operations Manager provides oversight of contractors, vendors, and system partners, monitors program performance, and fosters innovation to achieve workforce development goals as established in our strategic plan.Skills and Competencies:Strong understanding of WIOA programs, regulations, and workforce development principles.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.Strong organizational and project management skills.Familiarity with labor market trends and economic development strategies.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and workforce management software.Preferred Qualifications:Background in financial management in Workforce Development.Experience working with Workforce Development Boards or in public sector programs.Knowledge of local and regional labor markets and employer networks.Bilingual proficiency is a plus but not required.Salary Range:$50,000 to $55,000State Health Insurance and Retirement Benefits offered.Qualified candidates should submit a cover letter and résumé to or by mail to the address below.WorkforceUpper Savannah Council of Governments430 Helix RoadGreenwood SC 29646
