Job Description Wire Design & Install Engr06 monthsLocation: Tukwila, WAOklahoma city, OK San Antonia, TX Responsibilities: Develops and maintains cablewire harness detail and assembly designs. Analyzes results and performs design reviews. Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews. Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets. Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Works under minimal direction. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role, regular and predictable attendance is required. Experience in wire design tools such as Mentor Capital, MAPPER, WIRS, EDART, andor an equivalent avionics wire design system is highly desired.Experience with requirements management software (e.g. DOORS) ANDOR Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Model Based Engineering through-out the development lifecycle.Experience on aircraft or avionics development program(s).Must possess good organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Must have demonstrated a strong work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assigned work with a history of meeting commitments.Ability to adjust priorities to multiple demands and unanticipated events.Highly motivated and must work well in a team environment.The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
