Senior Electrical Engineer

An industry leading aerospace manufacturing supplier is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and installing electrical systems and components.Responsibilities:Engineers, designs, installs, commissions, and tests new equipment and equipment upgrades, including capital projects; supervises and directs outside resources when applicable.Provide cost estimates, design, procurement and installation for electrical power and control equipment spects and is responsible for the maintenance of the plant power distribution equipment.Leads andor participates in continuous improvement to processes, equipment, and maintenance.Assists in problem solving for unplanned downtime.Provides technical support for plant operations including maintaining existing product lines and ensuring equipment controls are functioning properly, maintenance support, capital project implementation from concept to validation, and Six Sigma project rollout itiates and leads plant teams in the development of process improvements.Provide expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problemsMonitors process, including new equipment and tools, to ensure performance to specifications. Implements capital and non-capital projects.Identifies causes and develops strategies for eliminating re-occurring downtime.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Degree is preferred)Hands on experience with industrial power supplies, drives, motors, and controls; ability to troubleshoot electrical components in an industrial facilityMinimum 3 years' experience in a similar engineering role within a manufacturing environment.Experience working with medium andor high voltageAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities and work with personnel at all organizational levels.
