This pivotal role requires a proven leader with a deep understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, distribution networks, and a commitment to Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement principles. The ideal candidate will ensure operational excellence, drive safety and compliance, and optimize efficiency while fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.What You'll DoSupervise and provide leadership to lab techs and line auditorsDevelop direct reportsManage lab and line coverage - willing to work off shifts if neededWork closely with cross-functional departments to ensure compliance to regulatory, customer and company requirementsReviews daily production schedule and adjusts the quality departments schedule to ensure testing and reporting are metMaintain proper lab supply inventory levelsReview testing datainvestigate out of spec results. Escalate out of spec data.Assist in customer complaint investigationsOversee quality programs and assist with implementationReview and maintain COAs for incoming truck deliveriesAssist with continuous improvement projectsAssist in hiring and training employeesEnsure the Team follows GMPs and GDPsAdditional duties as assigned by managerWhat You'll NeedKnowledge of 5S PracticesProficient in laboratory techniques, instrumentation and data analysisStrong understanding of industry standards and regulations such as GMP and GLP.
