Many of our employees are licensed professionals, and our corporate culture promotes a diverse and collegial work environment with active mentorship of early career staff.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Civil Engineer, Environmental Engineer, or Geologist, based at our Irvine, California office.Requirements and Key Responsibilities6 to 15 years of experience in the environmental industry.Will be based in NOREAS' Irvine office.US citizen or Permanent Resident.BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology or a closely related field from an accredited university. MS degree in related technical field is a plus.California PE (Civil) or PG is required.Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat (or similar). Experience with GIS and or CAD a plus.Work as a taskproject manager for groundwater monitoring, remediation system designimplementationoperation and maintenance, and other environmentalconstruction projects.Experience in supervision of largecomplex field projects is preferred.Travel and fieldwork, approximately 25-50%, dependent on level of experience.Ability and willingness to work outdoors, and capable of occasional lifting of up to 50 mitment to supporting a safe work environment.Strong writing and analytical skills for preparation of work plans and reports related to remedial investigation, remediation design, feasibility studies, removal actions, remediation implementation and monitoring.Knowledge of key regulations (CERCLA, RCRA, etc.) and agencies (DTSC, Water Board, EPA, etc.) is required.Proposal and cost estimate support.Experience working on investigationremediation projects for utility companies (SCESCG), refineries, chemical plants, is preferred.Salary range: $95,000 - $125,000 (negotiable).BenefitsNOREAS offers a wide range of benefits including:Competitive salary based on experiencePerformance incentive bonusesMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance401k Plan with company matchPaid Time OffEEONOREAS is an equal opportunity employer and as such, considers individuals for employment or promotion according to their skills, abilities, and experience.
