Be a part of something bigger - where each day, you contribute to changing lives for the better.What You Will OwnYour successful support to financial advisors will enable them to meet their goal of helping their clients secure their financial future and protect the ones they love.Primary Responsibilities - Life Insurance and InvestmentsReview all applications for accuracy and completeness within 24 hours of receipt.Prompt and professional communications with advisors regarding incompleteincorrect application and business submissionPrompt & professional communications with advisors regarding status updates of business processing.Order medical requirements including APS reports within 24 hours for life insurance applications.Perform application data entry and file preparation all products utilizing the proper business submission toolsClient Management System updated in real time as work is being completed (at all stages of underwriting & business processing)All requirements scanned and emailed to home office within 24 hours of requestConduct policy assembly (policies that are submitted via mail or printingassembly from electronic submitted via Field Net) within 24-48 hours of receiptDaily follow up of all pending business & business submissions that are Not In Good OrderDaily connection with underwriters, case managers & business processer to ensure timely and accurate processing.Consult & train new advisors on business submission toolsPolicies reported in a timely manner (insurance) & funds settled at broker dealer accurately (investment)New Client Onboarding and account openingCoordinate asset transfersResolve client service requestsEnsure well-informed technology tools relating to business submission & processing for all product lines.Review IPM system weekly to avoid keeping funds for over 90 days.General administrative support as requestedWhat We NeedA service-minded administrative professional who exhibits pride in delivering professional and timely serviceSomeone passionate about ensuring the success of those they supportAttention to detail, organized with good follow-up and follow through skillsA self-starter and proactive person who gets things doneFriendly, open, professional, with an authentic personality, who enjoys working collaboratively with others to achieve mutual goalsQualificationsProficient with technology (Microsoft Office)Good interpersonal and communications skills-written and verbalAble to exercise diplomacyStrong with organizational systems and processesDetail orientatedExperience with new business processing in financial services companiesWhat We Offer YouA supportive and dynamic culture committed to its core valuesOpportunities to grow and developBase salary commensurate with experience and bonus programBenefits including medical, dental, vision and 401(k) Savings petitive vacationPTO programPosition is located in Southfield, Michigan.Hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am to 4 pm on Friday.Currently in-office 5 days per week.Join MassMutual Great Lakes: A Tradition of Excellence and Growth Join a legacy of excellence since 1851, where we do not just meet expectations, we redefine them.
