The Project Coordinator (PC) plays a crucial role in coordinating activities that lead to the successful installation of solar systems. This includes collaborating with Project Managers (PM), Lead Project Coordinator (LPC), Quality Control Managers (QC), Sales Teams, Customer Service (CS), and external vendors. The PC ensures that all tasks are completed on schedule, confirms the completion of pre-installation requirements, and supports post-installation activities.Key Responsibilities:Pre-Installation Coordination:Work closely with PMs, Director of operation, QC Managers, Sales Teams, and external vendors to ensure all necessary pre-installation tasks are completed, including obtaining permits, completing site assessments, and finalizing material orders.Confirm that all team members are aligned on project timelines, scope, and responsibilities.Serve as the accountability manager, ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed on time and meet the required standards before installation begins.Coordinate with customers, installers, engineers, sales reps, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and smooth project execution.Project Progress Monitoring:Track project milestones, including materials delivery, scheduling, and the readiness of team members, ensuring that the project moves forward smoothly.Manage and coordinate with installers, subcontractors, internal sales reps, and other professionals involved in the project.Report any delays, risks, or issues to the PM and work with relevant teams to resolve them swiftly.Maintain regular communication with PMs, EC, QC Manager, and others to ensure project tasks stay on track and meet quality standards.Post-Installation Activities:Manage post-installation tasks, including overseeing payroll processes related to project team members involved in the solar system installation.Administer customer satisfaction surveys to assess the installation's quality and identify areas for improvement.Ensure that all necessary post-installation paperwork and system documentation is completed and submitted to customers and relevant stakeholders.Oversee post-installation inspections and commissioning of solar systems.Address any issues or concerns after project completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and proper system operation.Provide ongoing support and follow-up for system performance and maintenance.Perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned from time to time by management.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, project timelines, and communication logs.Prepare reports for the director of operation and other management members on the status of ongoing projects, highlighting completed milestones, potential risks, and actions taken.Ensure all required documents are organized, easily accessible, and compliant with company and industry standards.Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in project coordination or administration, ideally within the construction, solar energy, or related industries.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.Familiarity with project management software Understanding of the solar installation process and relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Problem-solving ability and the capacity to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and efficiency.Strong organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Basic understanding of project management principles and processes.Authorized to work in the United StatesWorking Conditions: Full-time, with some flexibility in working hours depending on project needs.Weekends as neededOccasional travel to project sites may be teraction with both office-based teams and on-site personnel.Opportunities for growth into project management roles or other leadership positions.Benefits:401(k)Dental InsuranceHealth insuranceOpportunities for advancementPaid time offVision insuranceExperience: Solar installation: 5 years (Required)If interested, please apply directly on our website: Sol-UpSol-Up has been the backbone of cutting-edge technology while helping revolutionize solar engineering since 2009.
