Job Title: Laboratory TechnicianJob Type: W2 Contract (3 Months)Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM CSTLocation: Elk River, MN 55330Pay Rate: $19 - 20 hour DOEJob Description:The Laboratory Technician will perform routine analytical and laboratory testing to support the food safety, quality, and operational teams. We seek a dedicated individual to conduct product testing, monitor instrumentation performance, and complete tests under intermediate supervision. Responsibilities include documenting results, maintaining compliance with food safety regulations, and contributing to a strong food safety and quality culture.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine analysis of product testing.Check and monitor instrumentation performance.Conduct tests under intermediate supervision.Document and communicate test results in databases.Collaborate cross-functionally to support food safety, quality, and regulatory culture.Conduct calibration checks, preventive maintenance, and simple repairs on analytical instruments.Maintain customer specification books up to terpret and document test results in active databases and communicate findings to internal teams.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and procedural adherence.Perform routine inspections and laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process, and final products.Assist with clerical, administrative, technical, or customer support issues as needed.Escalate complex issues to appropriate personnel.Read and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions.Prepare routine reports and correspondence.Qualifications:High school diploma (Bachelor's degree not required).Some lab experience preferred or relevant laboratory coursework.Ability to complete a background check and drug test.
