Machine Shop ManagerOur growing client is seeking a Machine Shop Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure production cycles are met from part design to fabrication. Hands-on experience with CNC and lathe programming is required for this full-time, direct-hire role.Responsibilities of the Machine Shop ManagerPlan, assign, and direct workflow of Machine Shop, providing expert technical support for all personnel (20-30 employees)Interview, hire, train, and motivate team; appraise performance and address issuesDefine manufacturing methodology with design, manufacturing, and process engineersCreate CNC programs and holding fixturesWork with project management on new product developmentImplement continuous improvement initiatives for process and toolingOrder and manage raw materials and consumable tools for machine shopPerform additional tasks and projects as requiredQualifications of the Machine Shop Manager5+ years of relevant experience and Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experienceExpert knowledge and hands-on experience with CNClathe machining and programmingPrevious supervisoryleadership experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPlease share your resume in confidence for this Machine Shop Manager opportunity.
