The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales person who is comfortable generating sales leads with new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones. This candidate will be able to understand a prospective client's needs and offer an ideal solution. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and have a positive track record of exceeding outlined goals. This position is open to those located in the New England region.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSell Trans-Border's suite of logistics and transportation services to manufacturing or distribution companies in the New England Region. Services include import, export, and domestic logistics solutions, including international air and ocean freight services.Maintain and grow existing book of businessProspect new leads using a variety of methods, including email, phone, and face-to-face visits, and convert them into customersService and maintain existing clientsMeet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targetsUpdate the CRM system with sales activity on a weekly basis QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of experience in sales for freight forwarding or logistics (including international freight services)Proven track record and existing book of businessAbility to build strong relationshipsMust be a self-starter as this position will receive minimal supervisionProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer skills
