The Senior Litigation Paralegal will support the Firm's various departments in coordinating all aspects of on-site trials, arbitrations, and mediations. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to define, communicate, and implement requirements for trials, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and the discovery process. The ideal candidate is solutions-oriented, highly analytical, and excels in building effective working relationships while demonstrating strong communication skills.Responsibilities:Assist attorneys in the New York, Washington, and California offices with case management and trialhearing preparation, including document organization, witness preparation, and exhibit management.Coordinate with expert witnesses, clients, vendors, and opposing counsel throughout case preparation and trialhearing proceedings.Oversee trialhearing logistics, collaborating with internal departments (Information Technology, Litigation Technology, Office Operations, etc.) and external vendors to set up on-site and off-site operations.Plan and execute off-site trial setups, including pre-trial site assessments and post-trial breakdowns.Serve as a key support member during trialhearings, managing exhibits, logistics, and courtroom technology.Arrange travel accommodations, including hotel bookings, offsite meeting spaces, and courthousearbitration workspaces.Conduct legal research, draft case summaries, and maintain case-related databases.Provide post-trial support, including preparing post-trial briefings, settlement documentation, and organizing final case materials.Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with legal procedures and court rules.Assist in trial budget development and tracking.Gather and maintain best practices for trial protocols.Provide additional paralegal support to case teams, including drafting and filing pleadings, managing discovery documents, and collaborating with the Firm's Discovery Group and Managing Attorney Office on e-discovery and filing procedures.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.Minimum of 6 years of experience as a litigation paralegal with significant trialhearing and courtroomarbitration experience.Proficiency in legal software and e-discovery tools (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis, Relativity, Case Notebook, CaseMap, TrialDirector).Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and produce high-quality, accurate work.Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication, organization, problem-solving, and time management skills.Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.Willingness to work extensive overtime and travel as needed, especially during trials.Ability to handle confidential information with pensation is commensurate with experience.
