Production Supervisor

TITLE: Production SupervisorTYPE: Direct HireLOCATION: Middlefield, CTONSITEREMOTEHYBRID: Onsite START DATE: FebruaryMarch 2025SHIFT: 3rd ShiftWe are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our 3rd shift team.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESLead, motivate, and evaluate shift employees in day-to-day operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Ensure adherence to quality specifications and procedures.Advocate for and train employees on proactive safety measures, conduct compliance audits, and handle incident reporting and investigations into close calls.Troubleshoot and resolve process, equipment, and material challenges in collaboration with support personnel.Collaborate cross-functionally with HR on payroll and personnel issues, and coordinate with peers for essential updates during shift changes.Train the team on proper company protocols, emphasizing safety, quality standards, and achieving production targets.Manage the shift to meet production goals and minimize scrap.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree preferred, but not mandatory; Six Sigma Certification is a plus.At least 5 years of proven experience in production supervision, ideally within a manufacturing setting.Physical capability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and remain active throughout the facility.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a readiness to learn new systems; strong verbal and written communication skills.A team player who can establish and maintain productive working relationships with hourly employees, management, and peers.EOE STATEMENT We are an equal opportunity employer.
